Which do you like better DLP, LCD, Plasma, or LED?

I had DLP now all the DLP TV are really big or really expensive. I didn't like LCD or Plasma I found then to be to bright and cartoonish. I am just wondering how others feel before I go take the plunge into best buy?

I prefer Plasma!

Plasma has better colors, better contrast ratios, better response times and better refresh rates!

Panasonic's 2010 line up of Plasma's are advertising between 2,000,000:1 and 5,000,000:1 "native" contrast ratios! Native contrast ratio is the measure of a TVs ability to render it's blackest black and whitest white on a single frame. This is the most accurate measurement of a TVs picture quality. And ONLY plasma's can obtain this high of a native contrast ratio. This is because of each one of their pixels can be turned on or off! Creating a wider field of contrast. LCD TV cannot accomplish this do to the backlight sources. Even the smallest backlight source(LED) covers an area of tens or hundreds of pixels! Rendering their native contrast ratios much lower. This is why all LCD manufacturers(except Panasonic) only advertise their TVs 'dynamic' contrast ratio!

Dynamic contrast ratio is always a much higher number and also, less accurate! It's a measurement of the blackest black the whitest white over a unspecified amount of frames or time. And there is no governing of the specs of how dynamic contrast ratios are measured. So manufacturers can do what ever they want in order to get their numbers as high as possible! It's basically a marketing ploy!

Plasma TVs also have unbeatable motion sharpness thanks to their near instant response times(.001ms) and super fast refresh rates(600hz)! Fast motion content like sports, movies and gaming will look their sharpest on a Plasma TV!

And as for the myths and past problems of Plasma...they're just that...past problems! They no longer use hugh amounts of energy. They do not burn-in anymore thanks to newer gases, pixel orbiting technology and screen savers! They also have anti-reflective screen coatings to prevent glare!

As for brand to go with...Panasonic or Samsung. Panasonic's are slightly more reliable though!
