Wall Sconce Bronze
is it wrong to have a brushed nickel kitchen faucet while having oil rubbed bronze pendant lighting?
Trying to match the dacor of a new home. Should the bathroom and kitchen fixtures match the finishes of the door knobs and/or lighting or can you mix and match. We are looking into having brushed nickel fixtures and door knobs while having oil rubbed bronze pendant lighting and wall sconces.
Separate rooms in a home do not have to match and you can play with the fixtures within rooms. They just need to be within the same family of styles. For instance if you are choosing a contemporary look, you would not want to choose a victorian style regardless of the finish. We have stainless kitchen appliances, brushed nickel knobs, handles, and faucets, but deep bronzed drops over the island and chandelier over the breakfast area. Your bathrooms definitely don't have to match your kitchen choices so have some fun.
Why Candle Sconce Holders Are Some Of The Best Lighting Plan Choices For Your Home
Home decoration normally stops when all the main areas are addressed. We paint our walls, install the flooring, and add in the furniture. Yet, a lot of home owners don't realize how much more beautiful their households can be if they add in the finishing touches of wall decoration. Specifically, utilizing wall sconces to combine light with design can really add to the personality of the room.
I really love candle holder sconces. Candles are very inexpensive and provide an exquisite glow which cannot be replaced by any other light source. You can always set some candles down on places such as coffee tables, which is fine. However, if you truly would like to give some ambiance to your living space, hang them on the walls so the light from the dancing flames can travel beautifully around the perimeter of the space.
You can find a candle wall sconce to match pretty much any theme. Do you have a country style dwelling? Bronze, copper, and wrought iron should match really well with it. How about a contemporary home with voguish furniture? Geometric shapes with solid bright colors tend to go well with these types of homes. Or maybe you reside in a lavish style household with marble tile, fine china, and fancy statues? Then gold, silver, and crystal will probably be a good match. One of my friends is a real fan of indigenous Meso-American culture, so she owns a couple of candle wall sconces made out of stone, and signify that era and time, the Aztec calendar for example. As you can see, the choices are boundless.
Sconces are available in all sizes. There are models that can only hold one candle. They are suitable for small areas. Alternatively, if you would like to bring out existing features of the room, you'll want to strategically position one or two sconces near each of those features. Next, there are multi-candle sconces. These will also help highlight existing focal points of your home, however they could also become a major feature themselves.
