can we do all of this with $10,000?
me and my fiance just bought our first house and we also got a loan for $10,000 to do renovations. the house has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, one large livingroom, a diningroom, a kitchen and also a extra large room for whatever we choose. we plan on putting all hardwood floors through the house besides the kitchen and bathrooms we will tile.. also we are re-painting all the walls to colors we like, putting in new bedroom/bathroom doors, a dishwasher, crown molding, two new vanities with vessel sinks, a stand up shower as well as a soaker tub, and new light fixtures. and if we have any left over we'd like to put in new cabinet doors. is this doable with only 10 grand? if we shop smart that is... =))
& when i say hardwood floors i mean laminate harwood lol =)
sounds to me like you'll be just fine---the killer is the hardwood floors throughout...see if you can carpet the bedrooms and get laminate flooring--the more you save the more you can use somewhere else---like landscaping or windows or something.
