Is it tacky to have your kitchen table set?
My sister-in-law Ms. Know It All about home decor, states that it is tacky to have the table set . She had her set until see saw some show saying it was tacky. So I need to know.
Tacky doesn't even enter into it, when you have a table set well in advance of a meal, dust settles on the plates and cutlery and such, even if you can't see it, that's why I wouldn't do it. To properly set a table in preparation for a meal is a sign of civilization, hard to spot in this day and age. If she's talking about having a cloth on and say, a bowl of fruit in the middle or something like that, tell her to take the pipe! In fact, if you know she's an annoying yahoo without a mind of her own who plays Lamb Chop to the world's Shari Lewis, why do you even bother paying attention to anything she says? She's a cipher! You do what you want with your own home, and enjoy!
