Painting bedroom?

I want to repaint my bedroom but need some suggestions. The interior doors and blinds are kind of dated. The carpet is old, dirty and dingy. Not too much light gets in the room, despite having a sliding glass door. My furniture is white painted shabby chic/cottage and my bedding is pale pink floral and and pale pink decor such as flowers and teapots.

My question is: Should I go with a lighter off white paint? Or should I go with pale pink paint? Or should I stay with the ecru that it is despite the dinginess of the room?

Check out Sherwin William's line of paints called "Illuminescence". You'll find a perfect, pale pink that reflects lots of light. You could even use a soft lavender or yellow.

Twelve Newaygo County, Michigan, business owners got together in the fall of 2009 and formed a women’s group that they could get together and socialize, network, help each other, and give back to the community with impact.  They proudly named their group “Women Business Owners of Newaygo†and began meeting bi-weekly and planning their 1st project to raise money for the NCCS Camp Newaygo resident girl’s camp by way of selling 2010 personalized calendars.

NCCS Camp Newaygo has provided high quality camping programs for girls and young women since 1926. Seventy-seven years of tradition is a powerful motivator.
